The Christ Episcopal Church & School community collected items to fill 12 baskets with supplies and gifts for the holidays! These baskets were delivered today by our 8th graders to Community Reach of Montgomery County, which provides meals, gifts, and gift cards to those in need during the holiday season. Thank you to everyone who participated!
Read MoreAs part of the P.E. curriculum at CES, the 8th graders take ballroom dance lessons. Last night was their big showcase at the 2021 Ballroom Dance Recital! They danced the Waltz, the Cha Cha, the Foxtrot, the Swing, and more! And there was even time for dances with family & friends.
Read MoreThe 7th & 8th Graders at Christ Episcopal School enjoyed a 3-day excursion to Echo Hill Outdoor School on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in early November. This annual tradition is a favorite among CES students and always makes for great stories and lifelong memories. Our Head of School, Nicole Stone, spent time with the students and even drove them back on one of the CES school buses!

Read MoreOur Middle School girls soccer team played a scrappy game against St. John’s Episcopal School’s coed soccer team this week, losing 1-0, but almost tying the game in the last minute. Our girls showed great spirit and sportsmanship throughout the game, living our tagline “little school with a big heart.” Fun was had by all!
Read MoreThe CES 8th graders hosted an outdoor, horror-film themed dance on Friday. The weather was balmy, the tunes were rockin,’ and the decorations killed it! Visiting students from other local independent schools also joined, and good times were had by all.

Read MoreOn Saturday 9/18, we celebrated our first annual Fall Festival & Homecoming! We had several activity stations, demonstrations, live music, and even pie throwing at some of our faculty members — including our Head of School! It was delightful to see so many current and alumni families on campus, as well as several current and former faculty members. Read MoreOn a warm September day last week, CES students enjoyed some ice cream and social time with their their chapel partners. Students met outside on our Greentop to play games and socialize. It was a wonderful way to spend the afternoon and nurture our beloved Chapel Partners program. We are so grateful to have this in-person time to spend together as a community.
Read MoreOn our first day of school, August 31st, we gathered the K through 8th grades on our greentop for a morning chapel and welcome. Students met with chapel partners and welcomed each other in person. It was a great start to the day!
