February 4, 2022 The 5th/6th grade CES girls basketball team beat Woods Academy yesterday 14-12! It was a true team effort that led to an exciting finish! Overall, CES basketball is 2-0! CES 5th & 6th Grade Boys Top Norwood!

January 27, 2022 Our 5th & 6th Grade Boys’ Basketball team beat Norwood in their season opener last night. Though no fans were permitted due to Covid safety protocols, our boys still came out on top with a 34-13 win. The next 5th & 6th Grade Boys game is on Thursday, February 10th against Woods Academy. CES Alum and Broadway star to be featured on PBS

January 21, 2022 CES alum and Broadway star Brandon Victor Dixon will be featured on PBS on Friday, January 21st! Brandon credits his days at CES performing in the musicals for giving him his start. Last year, he returned to CES for a virtual Q&A session with our 8th grade students! We are so proud to call him a Cardinal. Christ Episcopal Community collects a dozen baskets for local charity!

December 16, 2021 The Christ Episcopal Church & School community collected items to fill 12 baskets with supplies and gifts for the holidays! These baskets were delivered today by our 8th graders to Community Reach of Montgomery County, which provides meals, gifts, and gift cards to those in need during the holiday season. CES 8th Graders Show Off Their Ballroom Dance Skills!

December 14, 2021 As part of the P.E. curriculum at CES, the 8th graders take ballroom dance lessons. Last night was their big showcase at the 2021 Ballroom Dance Recital! They danced the Waltz, the Cha Cha, the Foxtrot, the Swing, and more! And there was even time for dances with family & friends.

CES 7th & 8th Graders Enjoy Time at Echo Hill

November 19, 2021 The 7th & 8th Graders at Christ Episcopal School enjoyed a 3-day excursion to Echo Hill Outdoor School on Maryland’s Eastern Shore in early November. This annual tradition is a favorite among CES students and always makes for great stories and lifelong memories. Our Head of School, Nicole Stone, spent time with the students and even drove them back on one of the CES school buses!
