25th Annual Outing | Wednesday, May 3, 2023
Much like other area independent schools, Christ Episcopal School relies on the generosity of our community to sustain and advance its mission. Proceeds from our Golf Classic benefit the CES need-based tuition assistance program for current and incoming families. Awards are outright grants and do not require repayment.
The Cardinal Cup provides families, alumni, and staff an annual opportunity to compete in a friendly golf tournament. At least one member of each Cardinal Cup foursome is a current parent, alumni, alumni parent, staff, or alumni staff member, and each foursome competes on behalf of a CES class - their own graduating class or their child’s. The winner of the Cardinal Cup receives recognition in our newsletter and social media, and their name will be inscribed on the trophy - The Cup - which is a perpetual trophy that resides at the school.
Thank you to those who made this year's event a huge success! If you would like to make a donation toward our need-based tuition program, please do so using the link below. Thank you!

Format & Attire
Our tournament is a four-person scramble, which means that each group is competing against one another. Everyone in the group will hit a shot from the tee. The best shot will be used as the location for everyone's second shot. On each shot, the best ball is chosen. This helps keep the play moving more quickly and allows players of all abilities, with different strengths, to participate.
Our tournament will be a shotgun start. This means that each group of golfers will start play at the same time from different holes. Blue Mash will assign each group to a hole to begin, and all groups will play 18 holes in order, with the starting hole being the first hole for that group.
Water and other beverages will be available at the tournament.
