February 4, 2022 The 5th/6th grade CES girls basketball team beat Woods Academy yesterday 14-12! It was a true team effort that led to an exciting finish! Overall, CES basketball is 2-0! Up next, the 7th/8th grade girls basketball team will face Berman Hebrew Academy on Tuesday, February 8th at 4:40pm. Go Cardinals!

Though no fans were permitted due to Covid safety protocols, our boys still came out on top with a 34-13 win. The next 5th & 6th Grade Boys game is on Thursday, February 10th against Woods Academy. Brandon credits his days at CES performing in the musicals for giving him his start. Last year, he returned to CES for a virtual Q&A session with our 8th grade students! These baskets were delivered today by our 8th graders to Community Reach of Montgomery County, which provides meals, gifts, and gift cards to those in need during the holiday season. This annual tradition is a favorite among CES students and always makes for great stories and lifelong memories. Our Head of School, Nicole Stone, spent time with the students and even drove them back on one of the CES school buses!

Read MoreOctober 27, 2021 Our Middle School girls soccer team played a scrappy game against St. John’s Episcopal School’s coed soccer team this week, losing 1-0, but almost tying the game in the last minute. Our girls showed great spirit and sportsmanship throughout the game, living our tagline “little school with a big heart.” Fun was had by all!
