Christ Episcopal School students won big at the annual Mid-Atlantic Episcopal Schools Association (MAESA) Scholars’ Fair last Friday! CES took home medals in Art, Geography Bee, Spelling Bee, Math, Multimedia Presentation, and the Science Fair. In fact, CES swept the 7th-8th Grade Science Fair category and won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place!

This year’s MAESA Scholars’ Fair — an annual academic competition among Washington-area Episcopal Schools — saw over 200 students from 11 schools showcase their academic abilities. Categories included Art (both 2D and 3D), Geography Bee, Math Competition, Spelling Bee, Science Fair, Multimedia Informative Presentation, and Multimedia Creative Presentation.

Overall, CES took home 10 medals, the most of any school competing that day. In addition to Christ Episcopal School, the following peer schools were in attendance: Grace Episcopal Day School, National Cathedral School, St. Albans School, St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, St. Anne’s School of Annapolis, St. James’ Episcopal School, St. John’s Episcopal School, St. John’s Parish Day School, St. Patrick’s Episcopal Day School, and Washington Episcopal School.
