Board of Trustees

The Advancement Committee leads CES’s philanthropic efforts by planning and overseeing major fundraising initiatives, including:

• Annual Fund
• Annual auction & gala
• Planned giving
• Capital campaigns

This committee focuses on building a culture of giving across the CES community, developing strategies to engage donors, and supporting the financial sustainability of the school through innovative revenue-generation efforts.

The Finance Committee supports the Christ Episcopal School Administration and provides guidance with the financial affairs of CES, including support in setting the annual school budget.

The Governance Committee ensures effective governance by upholding best practices and compliance with the Board's bylaws. Its responsibilities include:

• Facilitating board self-evaluation and accreditation processes
• Overseeing the evaluation of the Head of School’s performance, and
• Identifying and cultivating qualified candidates for board and committee roles.

The Marketing Committee works to increase the school’s visibility by promoting it to prospective families and supporting admission activities. It enhances community outreach, engagement and retention, and highlights the contributions of faculty and staff in student learning experiences and well-being. Through these efforts on behalf of the board, the committee strengthens the school’s reputation and fosters a vibrant, engaged community.
