Lower School Jump Up Day
RESCHEDULED for Wednesday, January 24, 2024 (times vary)
Current parents of students in grades PreK – 3rd are invited to visit their child’s current classroom and to get a peek at next year’s classroom and program. Our new Jump Up Day format will involve both parents and students previewing together next year’s grade level activities. Parents will be able to spend time with their child exploring all of the wonders that next year holds. Parents are then welcomed to attend an informal Q&A session.
The event for each grade level will be 1 hour in length and will be structured as follows:
- 15 mins. – Join your child in his/her current classroom
- 20 mins. – Walk with your child to next year’s classroom to see a sample lesson/activity for that grade.
- 10 mins. – Your child’s teacher will pick up the class so parents can spend a few minutes asking the teacher of the next grade questions about that program.
- 15 mins. – Parents are invited to observe instruction in next year’s classroom briefly
