Supportive community and academically strong private school seeks lower school teacher for hire in 2025/2026 school year.

Christ Episcopal School, a diverse community serving students from Preschool through grade 8, is seeking a dynamic lower elementary school teacher for the next school year. The ideal candidate would be interested in joining a collaborative school community, providing a positive and challenging learning experience for each student, using differentiated learning strategies, integrating technology into the curriculum, and embodying the spirit of our diverse and welcoming school community. The candidate would bring their ideas, expertise, passions, and knowledge to enhance the collaborative and inclusive climate among teachers and administration. This person would also embrace the families at the school and demonstrate a passion for helping young children develop socially, emotionally, as well as academically.

A successful candidate for this position will have:

  • An Undergraduate degree (Master’s preferred) in early childhood or elementary education
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, preferred
  • An ability to differentiate instruction across subject areas
  • An understanding and ability to instruct in the Science of Reading
  • Experience with using technology in the classroom
  • A student-focused perspective and the desire to partner with the family in the child’s educational path
  • A desire to work as part of a team
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Initiative and creativity
  • A high level of energy
