Athletics
Physical Education
Students at CES have Physical Education every day. Three days a week students remain on campus and twice a week the travel off campus for such activities as: hiking, hockey, tennis, soccer and softball.
In Physical Education, the mission is to provide opportunities for all students to develop skills, knowledge and positive attitudes through fundamental movement, rhythmic, sport, and fitness activities. The intent is to help students develop lifelong skills that include regular and vigorous exercise and sports participation, as well as to encourage students to accept responsibility for their own wellness by leading an active life.
Sports

Middle school students are eligible and encouraged to participate in the CES afterschool athletics program. The goal of the CES afterschool athletic program is to create an educational and competitive environment within the atmosphere of good sportsmanship.
The program is designed to meet the needs of every middle school athlete regardless of athletic experience or ability level. All interested students will be given an opportunity to participate and be given the chance to learn more in-depth skills and strategies about the sports they are interested in playing. While sports are only games, students can develop the qualities of commitment, teamwork, dedication, loyalty, perseverance, goal attainment, and discipline.
