Tyler Anderson '97 is working for Night Vision Labs doing research and development with infrared cameras and presenting papers to kindred engineering minds. Meanwhile, he is hard at work fixing up his house (that is, his garage/workshop, with house attached), milling lumber and crafting fine furniture.
Colin Anderson '99 and fellow CES Alum Jessica Muscato Anderson '00 are happily enjoying married life and doing all kinds of projects. Colin is an engineer with Bechtel and Jessica, having finished her time with Teach for America and earning an M.A. Ed., continues to teach in the inner city DC.
Kristin Anderson '02 graduated in bio-engineering from Rice University (but not before she was discovered as a competitive cyclist) and then returned to Honduras to translate for doctors on a mission strip providing medical services to the poor. She is spending this year as a Fellow in a multi-faceted leadership program at The Falls Church which includes seminary courses and a position working with amputees and prosthetics at the National Rehabilitation Center.
Emily Lechner, '00 graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law this past year. Emily attended Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School in Washington DC and then went to Yale University where she majored in Psychology. Following graduation, Emily did research at the Yale Child Study Center on autism. Emily will begin work in September as an associate attorney at the Washington DC firm Groom Law Group, which specializes in employee benefits law. While at UVA, Emily did pro bono work for migrant workers in rural Virginia and recently won a case for a mother who appealed to the State of Virginia for additional financial support to care for her adopted special needs child. Emily plans to continue pro bono work in the DC area. Here are the short wedding highlights of Emily's wedding (Holy Trinity - Georgetown) to Joseph.
