There will also be many used books for sale to appeal to all our CES children\, from board books\, children’s books\, easy readers\, to young adult books. \nPlease bring one sweet treat for every child that you bring to this event so that all children can participate in the cakewalk. Join us on Saturday\, March 9th at 6:00 pm at Maggiano’s Little Italy in Chevy Chase\, MD. \nClick here for more details and to RSVP! \nGala Parking and Transportation Options\nMaggiano’s is located at 5333 Wisconsin Avenue\, NW\, right on the border where Chevy Chase ends and Washington\, DC begins. Consider the following travel options: \nIf traveling in your own car\, there is a Colonial Parking garage under the restaurant. There are two garage entrances: \n\nEnter the “Chevy Chase Pavilion” Colonial Parking Garage using the entrance located on Military Road between Western Avenue (off of Wisconsin Avenue) and 43rd St. NW. At the bottom of the entrance ramp\, turn left\, and follow signs to Maggiano’s. The elevator there will take you up to the restaurant.\nEnter the “Chevy Chase Pavilion” Colonial Parking garage on Wisconsin Avenue\, to the left of the Maggiano’s entrance. After going through the garage gate\, continue straight and follow signs to “Friendship Center”. Once in the Friendship Center side of the garage\, there will be a sign on the elevator vestibule for Maggiano’s.\n\nUpon leaving Maggianos\, be sure to validate your parking ticket at the host stand\, which will provide discounted parking for the first 4 hours for $4\, and then an additional 1-2 hours will be $5-$7. The garage is staffed until 11:00 pm\, but is open 24 hours. \nThere is limited street parking. \nIf you take Metro: Maggiano’s is located at the Friendship Heights metro stop on the Red Line. Once off the metro\, take the Military Road exit. \nConsider taking an Uber or taxi.
