September of 2016 marked the 50th Anniversary of Christ Episcopal School (CES), founded in 1966. Now in its 51st year, CES continues to “Inspire Minds to Learn, Hearts to Love, Hands to Serve”. CES nurtures students to become kind, confident, well-rounded individuals prepared to contribute to their community and thrive personally, spiritually and academically. And, CES continues to celebrate the acceptance of its Grade 8 graduates into their top choices of high school programs.
CES relies on the generosity of our community to sustain and advance this mission. While tuition covers two-thirds of the cost of educating a student at CES, the remaining one-third is supplemented by annual contributions to the Christ Episcopal School Fund (CES Fund). All current families, alumni, grandparents, and friends are encouraged to support this fund which bridges the gap between tuition raised and the actual cost of a CES education. 100% of our leadership, faculty, and staff contribute to the Fund.
While the CES Fund is our first priority, other opportunities for supporting the school are also available. Annual events such as the Golf Classic and the Spring Auction and Gala offer still more opportunities to support the school.
CES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, which means that your generous gift is tax deductible (please consult your tax advisor for specific information about your deductions).

The spring weather has inspired us to launch our ‘Ben & Jerry’s Cone Chase’ competition this week. The Cone Chase groups the parents of students in the following grades in a competition to see which group achieves 100% 2017 - 2018 Annual Fund participation first. The first team to 100% wins a trip to Ben & Jerry’s for their children. More than 40 winning CES Students will enjoy time away from the text books, a warm walk to downtown Rockville, and most importantly, free Ben & Jerry’s ice cream cones. Here are our teams, named after Ben & Jerry’s top selling ice cream flavors:
